Our BLUESPARK® Technology
At Blue Spark Energy, we offer the exclusive BLUESPARK® technology and trained technicians to create repeatable, high-powered hydraulic pressure pulses and shockwaves in remote wellbores around the world.
With over 600 jobs under our belt and a proven track record of success, our clients experience a lower holistic cost to the lifecycle of the well with no safety or environmental risks. BLUESPARK® is the one-size-fits-all multi-tool, with versatility for modifications as unique as our projects require.
A lightbulb moment for oil & gas producers.
Hydraulic pulsing in the downhole industry has been a 60-year pursuit. We have achieved what no one else has, combining theory with practice to create consistent improvements in production — without the complications of conventional remediations.
High Pulsed Power (HPP) refers to a brief discharge of concentrated electrical energy that generates a huge electrical power, much like in thunderstorms.
The science behind High Pulsed Power is to use a small amount of energy in a small amount of time to create a large burst of power – and to successfully repeat this hundreds or thousands of times in a safe environment, using minimal equipment, manpower, and energy.

OUR PROCESS —
Simple, effective, ingenious.
1— Project Evaluation. We learn more about the well and the production challenges faced, including location, the operating conditions, inherent risk, and wellbore and reservoir properties in order to determine if our technology will provide the results our client is seeking. We talk logistics and deployment, and spend a lot of time analyzing risk, since this is a unique, high-powered form of remediation that is new to the oil & gas industry. Get a Project Evaluation.
2— Offline information gathering. We get all the information we need from production and reservoir engineers, detailing the wellbore conditions and reservoir properties, as well as our client's operating procedures and their expectations.
3— Proposal. We outline the remediation on paper, including a detailed cost-breakdown, highlighting how much less time and work it takes to get the results they're looking for with BLUESPARK®.
4— The Intervention. After a well diagnosis is made, we send our tool and technician to the well location by truck, boat, plane, or helicopter. We rig our equipment up, treat the well according to the scope, and go home. This process is made even simpler because we don't require prep on site, nor do we require any clean up.
5— Follow up. We connect with our clients to ensure we meet their every objective, and can stay on-call for any future troubleshooting or remediations.
